It's our anniversary, eh!

Since we honeymooned last year in Paris, we thought we'd follow it up this year with another trip out of the country. Our destination was Canada, eh, and we spent the weekend in windy Winnipeg. The main goals of the trip were to shop and eat lots of good food; both of which we accomplished. As we were driving into the city we stumbled upon a spectacular outlet mall. Conveniently, it was located next to one of my new favorite Canadian restaurants, Joeys (joeysmedgrill.com). We stopped for a quick lunch and spent the afternoon in search of some good deals. For dinner we stuffed ourselves full of sushi to the point where we almost made ourselves sick. It was heaven.

On Sunday we enjoyed some warm sunny weather, so we took advantage of the situation and explored downtown Winnipeg and Assiniboine Park. We also toured the Conservatory where they were featuring a Canary exhibit. I'm telling you, these people really know how to have a good time.
