Fishing 101

For Memorial weekend, I headed to the cabin for some much needed R & R. Colin decided to stay at home to babysit Floyd and catch up on some work.

The weather was a little bit cool and rainy, and the mosquitoes thought it was buffet hour, but that didn't stop the crew from getting out on the lake for some fishing.
After motoring the pontoon across the lake, this appeared to be the perfect spot to catch dinner.
 Lines were cast.....
and fish were caught.
Fishing poles were inadvertently broken while attempting to bring in fish.
Not once, but twice.
There were definitely successes, both large and small.
Even the state bird joined in on the fun.
After a long hard day of fishing there really is only one thing left to do. Find a random game at the thrift store, purchase it because it has a ridiculous name, and then make up your own rules on how to play. This one is a new fav.
