Final Flood Fotos

Here are the latest flood pictures. Compared to last week you can see how much the water has receded. They finally took down the flood wall on the East Grand Forks side and re-opened the Greenway Trail with a disclaimer to walk/run/bike at your own risk. We decided to take a chance with an evening walk the other night and realized quickly that they hadn't cleaned the pathway. Regardless of the dead fish, inch of mud, and driftwood we still enjoyed ourselves.

This park bench and the surrounding trees did not survive the flood. We think they may have been taken out by a passing iceberg; possibly the same one that took down the Titanic.
