In the middle of July the Cutler girls set out to find Mr. Cutler. We found him working in Colorado alongside the majestic Rocky Mountains (actually he works in a basement, but this sounds a lot nicer...doesn't it?).
We enjoyed our first family picnic together. The experience primarily consisted of trying to come up with creative ways to keep a toddler sitting on a blanket in the middle of a park.
"No, you can't play on the slide right now because we are trying to eat this food that you spilled all over the blanket."
"Please stay away from the porta-potty."
"Don't touch that! Garbage is yucky!"
To beat the Colorado heat we cooled off at a splash park downtown. Norah had a dinner date with her friend George. They conversed over a gourmet meal of Mac & Cheese and broccoli. They also took turns mowing the lawn. Well, to say they "took turns" implies sharing. Let's just say the lawnmower was the coveted toy of the evening.
We found another splash park and spent some time at the YMCA pool. See that mountain behind my shoulder? Yeah, our YMCA back at home doesn't have that view either.
Mr. Cutler took some family photos for our friends The Wilsons.
And Norah perfected her "What chu talkin' 'bout Willis?" face.
